My name is Jose and I have been working at AutonomyWorks since the company opened back in 2013. I started off working just 2 days a week, four hours each day. Now, I work 5 days a week. I take the train to work every day and I start my shift at 9 AM.
My favorite work is building templated websites for one of our clients, 8to18 Media. I have been building their websites for over six years, and I am now the client expert on our team. The websites I build show information on the sports and activity schedules for schools. My job is to get all of the information up on the website. It is very important that I do this correctly or people may go to the wrong game, at the wrong time, at the wrong place. That would never happen though, because I always quality check my work.
I like working at AutonomyWorks because I like computers and I like the people that I work with. Several people in the office know American Sign Language, and because I am deaf, this makes it easy for me to communicate. I am also helping to teach some of my co-workers sign language. I also write notes and type messages to communicate. I hope to work at AutonomyWorks for a long time.
