AutonomyWorks has benefited from the support and advice of countless people and organizations. Their counsel has been extremely valuable as we have built the company. There are too many to mention here, but a few stand-out for their consistent and valued partnership
- Autism Speaks – Autism Speaks is the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization (and an AutonomyWorks client). Since inviting us to participate in their first Small Business Roadshow in 2013, they have been a consistent source of advice, encouragement, and connection.
- Easter Seals Serving Chicagoland and Rockford – Easter Seals serves children with disabilities and their families offering a wide range of services. They were one of the first organizations to partner with AutonomyWorks providing autism and training insight as we built our first training program.
- IL Division of Rehabilitation Services – DRS is the state’s lead agency serving individuals with disabilities. DRS has partnered with AutonomyWorks since 2013 and has helped us to recruit, train, and hire more than 30 individuals with autism and other disabilities. DRS has been and remains an invaluable sourcing partner to our growing company.
- IL Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity – The DCEO is committed to career, employment and training services for people with disabilities through Disability Employment Initiative (DEI) grants. In partnership with the DCEO, AutonomyWorks is able to offer our industry leading training program to youth ages 14-24 living in Northern Cook or DuPage County. Together, we will train and hire youth with disabilities into meaningful IT careers.
